Rhododendrons of Norfolk

We are pleased to offer this fabulous weekend break taking in some of Norfolk’s most popular attractions.

Our itinerary includes a guided tour and lunch at Peter Beales Roses, a visit to the Sandringham Estate, the market town of Sheringham and of course Sheringham Park with its vast collection of Rhododendrons.

Day 1

We pick you up from home to join the coach for the journey to Peter Beales Roses at Attleborough. Here we include a two course lunch and garden tour led by one of the dedicated team of experts, offering an interesting and informative look at not only the magnificent gardens, but also the history behind the roses. Later we continueto our hotel in Norwich for a stay of two nights.

Please note: at this time of year the roses will not be in full bloom

Day 2

We start the day with a drive to Sheringham with the opportunity to purchase lunch before making an afternoon visit to Sheringham Park. Famous for its vast collection of rhododendrons
and azaleas, the last owner, Tom Upcher, wouldhold rhododendron champagne parties in the 1950’s to show them off. Perhaps climb to the top of the towers and experience breathtakingviews of this beautiful landscape.

Day 3

Departing the hotel after breakfast we travel to the Sandringham Estate where we include entrances to the house, museum and gardens. Later we continue are our journey home arriving by early evening.
