Day 1:

Morning collection from home and travel to the lovely town of Ripon before continuing to our hotel in the centre of Durham.

Day 2:

After a leisurely breakfast we head to Crook Hall and Gardens, an oasis of tranquillity in the heart of Durham. We have time to explore and enjoy the gardens and interior of the house before enjoying a sparkling afternoon tea.

Day 3:

This morning we enjoy a guided tour of Durham Cathedral including Open Treasure, a new world class exhibition experience at the heart of the Cathedral. We have an included sandwich lunch before a free afternoon to explore the city.

Day 4:

Spend the day further exploring Durham or join our coach for a scenic drive into the Durham Dales and over the North Pennines visiting the Durham Dales Visitors Centre at Stanhope, the pretty village of Blanchland and Hexham.

Day 5:

Departing our hotel after breakfast we return to East Anglia, with suitable refreshment stops, arriving by mid evening.
